Project Manager

Blake Dauzat has been with BUILD Commercial Construction since July 2020 and has been involved in the construction industry since 2016. A resident of Baton Rouge, he is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana, where he received a Bachelor of Engineering and Science in Construction Engineering Technology.

During his time at Louisiana Tech and after his graduation in 2017, Blake held internships with Moore Construction, where he was a laborer during the construction of the DOW chemical hydrocarbons control room and an Assistant Project Manager during the Exxon Mobile chemical plant main office hardening project, which totaled $14,000,000.

After gaining valuable experience in the construction industry during these internships, Blake was hired by Moore Construction as an Assistant Project Manager, a position which he held for just a little over two years. During his tenure with Moore Construction, Blake grew his skillset and took on projects that established him as a competent and versatile professional. He successfully planned projects and saw them through completion, while supervising field staff members, purchasing and coordinating the delivery of materials to job sites, and tracking budgets to ensure that projects were completed on time and within budget. What sets him apart is his ability to successfully communicate well with clients, engineers, colleagues, supervisors, and other constituents to ensure smooth completion of every project from start to finish.

After spending two years with Moore Construction, Blake decided to join the team at BUILD Commercial Construction in July of 2020. He has already established himself as a valuable member here at BUILD Commercial Construction and continues to grow his project portfolio with exciting new projects. Blake consistently delivers great results to our clients while helping to grow our company and establish us as leaders in the construction industry.
