Office Manager
Julie started with BUILD Commercial Construction in July 2020. She has an extensive career in Administrative and Human Resource roles. A native of Baton Rouge, Julie attended St. Joseph’s Academy and Louisiana State University where she studied Business Administration.
Julie worked in Administration with the Baton Rouge Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. There she was involved in maintaining employee records, preparing a procedures and policies manual, planning and scheduling meetings, retreats and strategic planning sessions, as well as assist in preparing budgets.
In order to further her career, she accepted a position with TJM Restaurant Management. Initially, she was hired as Executive Assistant to the President/CEO and ultimately held the role of Human Resources & Administrative Manager. In this position, she managed the human resources department as well as overseeing employee benefits, workers compensation, time and attendance, hiring, orientations, implementing an updated facility safety program, handled employee grievances across five states and also dealt with insurance companies and litigation.
Julie was offered the position of Corporate Talent Acquisition Manager with SIMOS Insourcing Solutions with headquarters in Atlanta, GA. For the next eight years she worked to support the business and operational objectives ensuring exempt level talent needs were met by actively recruiting talent to support the various SIMOS management teams within clients’ facilities. During that time, she also provided full scope support of HR initiatives for 11 facility locations.
Julie joined BUILD Commercial Construction in 2020 as Office Manager.
