KOK Wings & Things converted the old Entergy mechanic building of the Electric Depot Development into a restaurant and sports bar. This building uses the historic elements of the original building to give the space a ton of character. This restaurant has the ability to open the roll up doors to allow for patrons to flow in and out of the dining room and patio spaces.
Brows Cosmetic Tattoo BROWS Cosmetic Tattooing re-imagined this historic space into their new Baton Rouge location. BUILD was able to demise a corner space to give the retail location excellent visibility within the development. This historic renovation took advantage of the open structure to give a huge feeling to smaller square footage
This office renovation consisted of converting a multi-tenant space built in the 1950’s into a modern office space. The design allowed us to embrace the multiple materials and existing character of the building while providing modern comforts and energy efficiency
370 Acre Restoration Project located on the South side of Lake Charles, LA. The scope entailed bringing this site previously used as pasture land back to life as a Coastal Prairie and Fresh/Intermediate Marsh allowing for natural water inundation.
The Southeast Urology Project utilized trade partner input during design of the project to increase budget efficiency and maximize end user experience for the owner. This new construction clinic features exam rooms, offices, multiple procedure rooms, two nurses' stations, and an area left unfinished for a future tenant. With the owner moving into this building from a rented space, attention to schedule was of paramount importance. BUILD's team was able to overcome multiple challenges to deliver the project on the owner's desired schedule.
Improvements include the addition of a 3,500 SF courtroom to the existing Courthouse building with coordination of custom millwork to complement the existing facility.
Mary Bird Perkins - Cancer Services Renovation This historic structure was the original Baton Rouge Municipal Airport mechanic's building from when the airport was located on the Independence Park site. In 1970, this airport was formally closed due to inadequate space for modern aircraft. The renovation of this space from a storage building to a fulfillment center involved a thoughtful design to maintain the historic elements which makes this building so special.
This 6,000 SF new construction, single story, hospital administration building provides meeting rooms and support spaces, with covered exterior walks and vehicle drop-off areas tied to the existing hospital campus.
